Workers are always looking for a way to simplify data entry and access in the field - and DataSplice provides an easy-to-use mobile solution. Our technology offers handheld access to enterprise data in real-time, via a simple user interface. Workers download required data directly from the main database to the handheld, and are then able to access it in the field.

Access to data such as work order history, parts lists and inventory backlogs remain at their fingertips. Generating new work orders and updating meter readings are just some examples of tasks that can be completed in the field, without generating the usual long paper trail.

How Does It Work?

DataSplice is a client-server application that consists of mobile clients communicating with a server that brokers all access to enterprise data sources. The DataSplice Server is easy to integrate into an existing network system without implementing complicated changes in your configuration or database installations.

DataSplice Mobile Client can run on any Microsoft Windows powered operating system, including:

• Pocket PC Handhelds
• Windows Mobile (CE.NET) Devices
• Tablet PC Computers
• Workstations running Windows 98/NT/2000/XP

DataSplice technology works with any existing CMMS application, including MAXIMO® software from MRO Software Inc., as well as as any database platform, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
